Goodstone is a specialist investment management business focused on the UK living sector. The platform is vertically integrated, combining in-house investment, development, construction, asset and property management services.
The business is owned by senior management and Macquarie Asset Management, a global leader in real assets with over US$498 billion of assets under management.

Our ambition is to create a better way to rent.
This means designing, delivering and operating the next generation of rental communities designed around (i) better homes; (ii) bigger, better spaces; and (iii) better, simpler service.
Renting should be less of a compromise and more of an informed, lifestyle choice. That is why we are creating next generation residential communities that are aspirational spaces where people want to live, work, connect and relax.
We are convinced that delivering positive and sustainable outcomes for our residents, capital partners and communities are not mutually exclusive. Actually, it’s the opposite. Creating a better resident experience, delivered in a way that enhances social and environmental cohesion will generate attractive long-term risk-adjusted returns for our capital partners.

Our approach
to sustainability
Sustainability needs to be much more than a box-ticking exercise.
Our long-term focus allows us to put down roots in the local community and invest significantly in creating healthy homes designed to promote wellbeing. This means having an intergenerational mindset that encourages positive and sustainable outcomes for our residents, our communities and our environment.
Our approach is focused on promoting carbon resilience initiatives and creating positive social value during the delivery and operation of our rental communities. This culture of innovation, empowerment and positive change is embedded in everything we do.
We are targeting net zero carbon operations for both our corporate and portfolio activities. For our controlled development projects, we will initially focus on halving our operational carbon emissions and significantly reducing embodied carbon.
Working collaboratively with our supply chain to promote transparency, accountability and respect will further support the value we can create locally.
