Goodstone Living is pleased to announce that it will strengthen its senior leadership team with the appointment of Iliya Blazic to the newly created role of Chief Executive Officer.

Iliya will join the Executive Shareholders, Darryl Flay and Martin Bellinger, in delivering on the business’ strategy of partnering with leading institutional investors to deliver high-quality, build-to-rent residential real estate across the United Kingdom.

Iliya will be responsible for day-to-day leadership of the business and report to the Board of Directors. He shares Goodstone Living’s strategic vision for creating a ‘better way to rent’ and is passionate about delivering the next generation of UK homes in a sustainable and innovative manner.

Iliya brings more than 25 years of real estate investment and funds management experience to the role, having held senior leadership positions at IQ Student, Dominvs Group, Wellcome Trust and LaSalle Investment Management. He recently held the role of Chief Investment Officer at IQ Student where he oversaw the growth of its real estate portfolio to over 28,000 beds, resulting in the sale of the business to Blackstone Group in 2020 for £4.7 billion.
